For this project, I participated as a design researcher and project consultant for Cycling Sports Group/Dorel Sports, I used Design Thinking and ethnographic research to translate employee needs into actionable workplace-design priorities for the company’s new global headquarters. I shared these insights with CPG Architecture and remained involved through planning and design reviews, helping ensure the voice of the employee stayed central during design and budget decisions. The resulting 51,000-square-foot workplace supports collaboration, product development, employee wellness, and brand engagement through open, light-filled work areas, flexible meeting spaces, engineering and retail labs, bike-focused amenities, and displays that bring the energy, history, and performance of the company’s cycling brands into the everyday employee experience.
