Led the experiential design of Guru Academy 2.0, a 5,000-square-foot training environment created within a former Dorel Sports retail lab space. Developed as the second iteration of the academy, the space responded to the relocation of the corporate office and the continued success of the original program, which the team had outgrown.
Working within a modest budget, the design transformed an existing lab environment into a more functional and flexible training destination. The space included a lobby and waiting area, bathroom, office space, lunch area, and a large central training zone designed to support both education and hands-on technical engagement.
The main training area housed five fit bike stations, a classroom space, and a central lounge, creating a balanced environment for instruction, demonstration, collaboration, and informal conversation. The layout supported the operational needs of the academy while providing a more polished and purposeful experience for attendees.
The result was an efficient, brand-aligned training environment that extended the success of the original Guru Academy and gave the team a scalable platform for education, product expertise, and dealer engagement.
