Following Dorel Sports’ acquisition of the Guru Fit system in 2012, the company recognized an opportunity to elevate the entire experience—from the bike and software to the in-store display environment.

After installing several first-generation units over a three-month period, I identified critical opportunities to improve the display system for shipping, receiving, installation, setup, and long-term maintenance. These firsthand insights helped inform a redesigned Guru 2.0 display solution that was more efficient, scalable, and practical for global retail deployment.

The updated system proved highly successful, with Guru 2.0 installed in more than 250 retail locations across 75 countries worldwide.
